It's game time and we all know what that means! Bring on the football food and drinks!
We are huge sports fans and my family loves game day. Sure it's fun to watch and cheer
on our favorite teams, but hanging out with friends and family, enjoying delicious snacks
and refreshing beverages is even more fun!
A few days before game time I make a list of the food, snacks and drinks we'll need for
the game. Our local Walmart is less than a mile from our house, which is super
convenient for shopping! Everyone loves soda and crackers are a must, so Coca-Cola
and Ritz Crackers are almost always on my Walmart shopping list!
Sometimes I'll make a large cheese and cracker board, but this time I opted for small
plates of cheese, Ritz Crackers, pepperoni, fruit & vegetables, which are easy to
grab and hold while watching the game. Bottles of ice cold Coca-Cola were readily
available, as well as cute little straws for sipping. So refreshing!
A game day spread isn't complete without some type of sweet treat, so I whipped up
a batch of Ritz Cracker Muddy Buddy Cookies. This recipe could not be any easier
and you probably already have the ingredients in your pantry!
Ritz Crackers, peanut butter, vanilla extract, chocolate chips and powdered sugar are
all you need to make these delicious cookies! I took leftovers to my office and
everyone loved them!
Ritz Crackers and Coca-Cola are convenient snacking solutions for game time and the
snacking possibilities are endless! I can't wait to come up with even more

Ritz Cracker Muddy Buddy Cookies
32 Ritz Crackers
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
2 cups powdered sugar
Place peanut butter and vanilla into a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
Spread a little of the peanut butter mixture onto a Ritz Cracker and sandwich together
with another cracker. Repeat until all of the crackers have been used.
Place the filled crackers on a parchment lined cookie sheet and place in the freezer
for about 10 minutes.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and
smooth. Place powdered sugar into a wide bowl.
Using a fork, dip the chilled sandwiched cookies into the melted chocolate until
completely covered. Place the chocolate covered cookies directly into the bowl of
powdered sugar, tossing to coat. Place the cookies back onto the cookie sheet and
repeat until all of the cookies are covered in chocolate and sugar coated.
Store cookies in an air-tight container at room temperature.
Makes 16 sandwich cookies.
