That time I Tried To Be A Fashion Blogger

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me post these photos last week and

you might have thought to yourself what in the world is she doing - ha ha.

Although my Instagram and blog are primarily food focused, I also write about travel, 

DIY, beauty and shoes when the mood strikes. So when I was recently asked if I would 

like to receive a few pieces of Crown and Ivy clothing from Belk to model and post to 

my  Instagram I said yes! I already own a few pieces of clothing from Crown and Ivy 

and love them, so I thought why not?

I tagged along on a business conference with my husband to New Orleans since it was

freezing in Virginia and temperatures in the city were perfect for my spring outfits! 

I made my husband an official #instagramhusband by making him take photos of me.

I thought he did a really good job, although he didn't tell me my bra strap was hanging

out! #firsttimefashionbloggerproblems

Anyway, I loved the clothes they sent me and I had fun modeling them. You can find

It was fun trying something new and I would definitely do it again, but until then I'll

stick to baking and other fun posts.
