Pitaya Smoothie Bowl


Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl Recipe








































The warmer temperatures here in Virginia have me craving smoothies and smoothie bowls
much more frequently.  Dragon fruit (Pitaya) smoothies are one of my favorites because
they are so pretty! They're also nutritious and taste delicious too!



I experienced my first pitaya smoothie bowl about two years ago at a cute little juice bar
and market in Virginia Beach called The Green Cat and I've been hooked ever since!
If you find yourself in the Virginia Beach ocean front area you must stop by! They have
the best cold-pressed juices, smoothies, bowls and oatmeal! Tell them that Me and My

Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

1 Pitaya Plus smoothie pack
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup raspberries
drizzle of honey
1/3 - 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Combine broken up smoothie pack, banana slices, raspberries, honey and almond
milk into a blender. Blend until smooth.  The mixture should be very thick.
Add a little more almond milk to completely blend if necessary.

Top with fruit, seeds, edible flowers, granola or nut butter.

Serves one.
