Clementine Wreath {DIY}

Clementine Wreath

Happy December!
I can't believe we're in the last month of 2016!  This year went by crazy fast.
Is your tree up? Have you decorated?

We have two trees, which we put up and decorate the day after Thanksgiving, but
I'm still working on our mantle and a few odds and ends here and there.  I love
all the twinkling lights and coziness of the holidays!

Today I'm sharing a quick, easy and healthy gift to give to neighbors, friends, the
mailman or whoever you like.

It's a clementine wreath and it's so cute and festive and it tastes delicious too :)

All you need to make your own clementine wreaths are clementines, of course,
clear cellophane, bakers twine, ribbon and cute little tags.  I got the idea to make
them here, where you can also find other crafts and ideas using this yummy fruit.

December is such a fun time of year to think of others and surprise them with little
gifts.  Enjoy!

Clementine Christmas Wreath

7 - 8 clementines (mandarin oranges)
1 - roll clear cellophane (I found it at the Dollar Tree)
1 - roll baker's twine
1 - roll ribbon
printable holiday tags (you can find the ones I used here)

Cut about 36 inches of cellophane from the roll.  Cut this piece in half
lengthwise, this will be enough to make two wreaths.
Lay the cellophane on a flat surface and place the clementines in the middle of the wrap,
spacing them about 3 inches apart.  I used 8 clementines on the wreaths I made.

Fold the cellophane over and roll the clementines up in the cellophane.
Using baker's twine, tie each end, then tie between each clementine.
Bring the ends together and secure with a larger piece of ribbon, adding a tag if desired.

Gift to co-workers, neighbors and friends during the holidays.

Enjoy!
