This post is in partnership with Stonyfield. All opinions and text are my own.
I love surprising neighbors, friends, my favorite Sheetz Convenience Store girls and
our mailman with special treats from time to time. Baking is my love language and
there's nothing better than sharing that love with others. I've been known to leave treats
inside of our mailbox, at my neighbors front door and inside of their vehicles for them
to find the next morning. I'm sneaky like that!

Pretty Packaging for Store Bought Baked Goods
We've all been there.
That last minute phone call asking for a bake sale donation or a new neighbor has moved
in next door and you have absolutely no time to bake. I'm here to show you a cute way to
turn store bought baked goods into pretty packages that anyone would love to receive.

Homemade Steel Cut Granola
My blogging friend Kathie from Homespun Seasonal Living sent me a copy of her
book Gift It From Scratch recently and it has really motivated me to start giving
more homemade treats to friends. I love surprising people with special gifts to
let them know I care or have been thinking about them, but sometimes life gets in
the way and I don't do it near as often as I should.
Kathie's book offers great ideas on how to put together gift baskets filled with
homemade quick breads, cookies, cakes and more. Kathie's recipes use natural
ingredients, which I love, and she gives you suggestions on how to package the
treats to make them even more special.
