Dessert Bruschetta

This post is in partnership with Moms Meet. As always, all opinions are my own.

Summer gatherings are my favorite.
There's nothing better than friends and family by the pool or on the deck with a drink
in hand and a spread of seasonal appetizers for the taking. I've been trying to get to our
Farmer's Market more frequently this summer and being more intentional about trying
new fruit and vegetables. This year I discovered yellow zucchini and baby plums that
were amazing! Fresh berries are the opitome of summer and are always on my shopping
list!

Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie

Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie

New Year's Eve was not very exciting around here.
I was in bed with bronchitis and the flu. I didn't even get to see the ball drop since I fell
asleep at 9:00! Not fun.
Eight days later the cough and stuffy nose still linger on and I've been surviving on soup,
chai tea lattes and smoothies.

4-Ingredient Raspberry Peach Crumble

Yes, you read the title correctly.
Only four ingredients are needed to make this delicious raspberry peach crumble,
perfect for spring and summer get togethers.

And you only have one bowl to wash after making it!
Or maybe two, if you devour the entire dish of fruit crumble after it bakes :)

Mini Granola Chocolate Fruit Tarts

My fridge is full of berries and I love it!
Summer is the best!
Granola Dark Chocolate Fruit Tarts

After dinner  I was craving something sweet, but healthy too.
Is that too much to ask??
I remembered seeing chocolate fruit tartlets on SkinnyTaste a few days ago and
thought they looked so yummy so I made my own version.
Mini granola chocolate fruit tarts.
Sweet tooth problem solved :)

Almond Butter and Raspberry Smoothie

This post was created in partnership with Stonyfield Organic and Target.
As always, all opinions are 100% my own.

Have I mentioned to you lately how much I love summer?
I mean really - I LOVE it.
I love getting into the pool after a long day at work, mowing the grass (not kidding!),
picking cherry tomatoes off the vine on our deck, sunflowers, zinnias from my mom's
garden and eating fresh berries by the handful.
Summer is definitely my favorite season of all.

When the weather is hot and sunny I find myself craving smoothies even more than usual.
Smoothies are a refreshing, healthy way to refuel my body and they're a great way to
cool off too!

The flavor combinations are endless when making your own smoothie.
I love to experiment with different fruits and add-ins, but I always use Stonyfield yogurt
and almond milk to make them smooth and creamy.

Raspberry Dark Chocolate Spelt Bread

Did you know this Sunday is World Baking Day?

I love any excuse to bake, so I was excited to be asked to join with nine other bloggers
to celebrate this special day by baking something sweet or savory with sprouted flours
from our sponsor Granite Mill Farms.

Raspberry Baked Oatmeal Cups for National Oatmeal Day #BerryNOats

Happy National Oatmeal Day!
Truth be known, everyday is oatmeal day in our house.
We LOVE oatmeal!
My favorite is oatmeal topped with fresh berries, almond butter and a little
almond milk.
Driscoll's organic berries to be precise.
They are  on our grocery list EVERY week!
Berries are low in calories, high in fiber and taste fantastic!

I do not discriminate against oatmeal.
I will eat instant oatmeal, steel cut oats, baked oatmeal, slow cooker oatmeal - whatever!
It's my fave!
