Chocolate Zucchini Bread Minis

It's the time of year when summer gardens are going crazy and neighbors leave zucchini
on your doorstep and I love it! Zucchini is probably my favorite garden veggie, so I'm
happy to take all of them I can get. What we don't eat, I freeze to use in soup all winter

Sometimes you need to be reminded of the beauty in your own backyard.

Over the weekend we met some friends for dinner on Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah
National Forest. We live in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, just 25 minutes from the
entrance to Skyline Drive, however it's been years since we have been there.  Our friends
were visiting from North Carolina (hi Tom and Betsey!) and asked us to join them for
the evening.

Stuffed Baby Red Potatoes {Appetizer}

My parent's garden is going strong this summer and we are enjoying all of the fresh
garden goodness! Over the weekend I dug some baby red potatoes and picked a few
zucchini, cucumbers and tomatoes.  I also went home with a beautiful bouquet of zinnias!
I just love summer!!
