Winter Dry Skin Beauty Favorites

Winter weather plays havoc with my sensitive skin, so I have to stay on top of things to 

keep my face, hands and body feeling moisturized.  I've tried lots of beauty products over
the years and have discovered a handful of products that keep my skin feeling great all
winter long.

It makes me happy every time I look at it!

Snow Ice Cream

We're finally getting our first big snow of the winter here in Virginia today.
I'm not a big fan of snow or winter for that matter, but it is kind of nice to be snowed in
on a work day :)

It will be the perfect day to bake, read, crochet and craft!
Oh yeah and make snow ice cream!!

Snow ice cream is super easy to make and only requires 4 ingredients.
Milk, sugar, salt and vanilla extract.
And snow of course.
Clean snow please :)

Here's how to make it.

Snow Ice Cream

1 cup milk (I used 2%)
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
8 cups or so of clean snow
sprinkles, optional (but who wouldn't want sprinkles!)

Whisk milk, sugar, vanilla and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Go outside and collect the snow.
Immediately stir it into the milk mixture until you reach your desired consistency.
Top with sprinkles and enjoy!
Eat right away because it melts quickly.
