How's your weekend so far?
I'm just popping in with a quick and easy breakfast recipe.
Overnight oats are super easy to prepare and great for breakfast on the go
or a delicious snack. My parents have wild blackberry bushes on the farm
and they picked some for me so I've been snacking on fresh blackberries all week!
I enjoyed this delicious jar of oats on the deck this morning.
I LOVE summer!
Easy Overnight Oats
1/2 C rolled oats
1 tsp. chia seed
1 tsp. flax seed
3/4 C almond milk
Add ingredients to a mason jar. (I use a pint size wide mouth)
Stir. Screw lid onto jar.
Set in the fridge overnight.
In the morning remove the lid and eat oats cold or microwave for 30 seconds.
I top mine with a drizzle of pure maple syrup, fresh fruit and almond butter.
