Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie

Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie

New Year's Eve was not very exciting around here.
I was in bed with bronchitis and the flu. I didn't even get to see the ball drop since I fell
asleep at 9:00! Not fun.
Eight days later the cough and stuffy nose still linger on and I've been surviving on soup,
chai tea lattes and smoothies.

I went back to work earlier this week, but when I get home I just want to crash and
watch Netflix!  I've been binge watching Gilmore Girls and am hooked!

Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie

I keep our freezer stocked with frozen banana slices and assorted fruit so that I can whip
up smoothies any time of day.  I love creating new combinations.  This weekend I created
this Raspberry Flax Protein Smoothie and it just might be my new favorite!  I added
Bob's Red Mill Vanilla Protein Powder and flax seed for a nutritional boost.  Protein
powder is an excellent source of protein and fiber and it helps to keep me fueled and
energized.  Smoothies are perfect for breakfast, lunch or a pre-workout snack!
Give my smoothie a try and let me know what you think.

Here's to getting healthier and enjoying the new year!!

Enjoy!

Disclosure - I received free product from Bob's Red Mill to develop this recipe.
As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
