Winter Fun Chex Snack Mix

Last week I shared a large batch recipe for homemade Chex Mix, a savory holiday classic.
Today I'm sharing my Winter Fun Chex Snack Mix, a sweet and salty favorite!
Beware, once you start eating it you won't be able to stop. It's so delicious our dog Scout
tried to sneak a bite :)

Winter Fun Chex Snack Mix is so easy and versatile, so feel free to mix and match your
favorite snacks. I used graham cracker snowmen because they were so adorable. I dipped
their hats into melted white chocolate, added a few sprinkles and a candy pearl for the
pom pom. My husband thought I was crazy, but I'm a sucker for cuteness.

Winter Fun Chex Snack Mix is perfect for holiday parties, movie night or as a gift
for neighbors and friends. Enjoy!

Winter Fun Chex Snack Mix

6 cups Popcorn
3 cups Chex Cereal (I used a combination of rice, wheat and corn)
3/4 cup chocolate coated candies (I used holiday m&m's)
1 cup mini graham cracker snowmen
1/2 cup Ghirardelli white chocolate melting wafers
Other options: pretzels, marshmallows, sprinkles, mini cookies

Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread popcorn, cereal, graham cracker snowmen and candies onto parchment paper.

In a small glass bowl, microwave white chocolate melting wafers for 30 seconds.
Stir. Microwave for another 15-30 seconds. Stir until smooth.

Using a spoon, drizzle white chocolate over popcorn mixture.
For complete white chocolate coverage, toss mixture with a spatula, if desired.

Note: I dipped the snowmen hats in white chocolate and topped them with sprinkles
before adding them to the mix.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Enjoy!
