What's In My Make-Up Bag

Hi friends!
Let's talk about something other than food today.
Are you cool with that?
Okay good.
I thought we would play a little game called what's in my make-up bag.

I'm always curious to know what skincare and make-up products others are using and
why, so I thought it would be fun to show you my favorites right now.
This is not a sponsored post, I purchased all of these products myself - I just thought it
would be fun to share.  I wear minimal make-up, but I'm definitely into skincare, so this
should really be titled what's on my bathroom counter top :)

My skin is pretty fair, especially my face, so sunscreen is super important to me.
I purchased the Coola Face Suncreen last year and love it.  It's smells nice, it's organic
and it doesn't cause my skin to break out. I love the cucumber scent.  TarteGuard is a
new purchase this year after I saw how much Jessica from How Sweet It Is loved it,
So far I really like it too and it hasn't cause any skin issues with my sensitive skin.
I purchased the Olay Complete with SPF 30 earlier this summer before the TarteGuard
and have been using it as my morning moisturizer.  It's a good inexpensive choice.

As far as skincare goes I experiment frequently.  When I run out of something I'm usually
open to trying something new unless I totally love it.  I just started using Fresh Soy Face
Cleanser and I love it so much I'm going to look into their other products soon.  It's the only
cleanser I have ever used that completely washes off my mascara without using other
make-up remover products.  It may be a keeper!  Every 3 days or so I use St. Ives Apricot
Scrub.  It's inexpensive and makes my face feel so smooth and clean.  At night I use
Philosophy Miracle Worker and Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and both of
them feel amazing on my skin.  They're a little pricey, but I don't mind spending extra if I
really like a product.  Oz Naturals Super Youth Eye Gel is another winner.  I use this in
the morning to help with dark circles and puffiness around my eyes. And that tiny tub of
Vaseline?  I've been using Vaseline on my lips for years! It's a night time ritual. I use the
Yes to Cucumbers eye makeup remover pads after exercise or swimming in the pool.
They're the perfect size for quick make-up fixes, I found them at Target.

Now onto make-up, I have very little experience in this department.  I prefer a natural
look, so I keep things pretty basic.  Right now I'm using Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue.
It's been perfect this summer providing light coverage.  I've been using Maybeline Instant
Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser for about 4 years now and I love this concealer!  It's
inexpensive and does the job.  What more could a girl ask for!  I do try different mascara's
frequently, but I received Clinique Lash Doubling mascara with a free gift a while back and
I really like it.  It lengthens and doesn't clump - that's all I ask.  I've never been big into
eye shadows, but I do use Bare Minerals Well-Rested on my lids and sometimes Urban
Decay (Sin) when I want a little sparkle.  Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in exposed is my
favorite blush right now and I finish it all off with It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation
Illumination (light).  See that little silver tube of lipstick?  It's Clinique Bamboo Pink,
I've been using that shade for over 10 years.  If they ever discontinue it I will cry.  For real!

I keep my nails pretty natural too.  Essie is my favorite nail polish!!  It goes on nice and
smooth and dries really quickly.  This summer I have used merino cool, topless & barefoot,
cocktails & coconut and marshmallow.  I love white nails!

I'm a germaphobe, so I always carry hand sanitizer in my purse and make-up bag.
I found this spray kind at Whole Foods and I love it!  It's peppermint scented too :)

So what is your skincare routine?  What products do you love? Please share.
I would love to know!!

Well I hope you enjoyed this non-food post and a look into my beauty routine.
We're finally getting an Ulta in my little town and I can't wait!

Happy Wednesday sweet friends!
