The time when all the leaves are falling off of the ten million trees in our
yard. Okay I may be exaggerating about the number of trees, but we will
be blowing, raking and bagging leaves until April I tell ya.
Leaves are my least favorite thing about Fall. Give me all the pumpkins,
Starbuck's lattes, apple orchards, boots and sweaters. But leaf raking -
no thank you.
I whipped up this smoothie with what fruit I had on hand and dang it
was pretty tasty. Cranberry orange is a new smoothie combination
for me and I'm looking forward to making another one soon!

Cranberry Orange Protein Smoothie
1 C unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Kura)
1/4 C fresh cranberries
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 small piece of fresh ginger
Add all ingredients into a blender.
Blend ingredients until smooth.
