All opinions in this post are my own.
Most Sunday afternoons during the fall and winter you will find me in my kitchen making
a big pot of soup, followed by some type of muffin or corn bread. Sometimes I stick to our
favorites like vegetable pasta, chicken noodle or lentil soup and other times I try new
recipes that I've pinned or found in one of my many cookbooks. My muffin Pinterest board
has close to 300 recipes that have sparked my interest, so I have plenty of new recipes to
try!

Cranberry Orange Protein Smoothie
Well it's that time of year again.
The time when all the leaves are falling off of the ten million trees in our
yard. Okay I may be exaggerating about the number of trees, but we will
be blowing, raking and bagging leaves until April I tell ya.
Leaves are my least favorite thing about Fall. Give me all the pumpkins,
Starbuck's lattes, apple orchards, boots and sweaters. But leaf raking -
no thank you.

Winter Chicken Bake
I haven't posted many dinner ideas lately, so I thought I would share one of our favorites.
Winter Chicken Bake is an easy one dish meal that is perfect on a cold winter evening.
The flavor combination is delicious!
Sweet potatoes, onion, carrots, apples and chicken baked in a cranberry barbecue sauce.
I use fresh cranberries, but frozen would be fine too.
Not fond of sweet potatoes? Use Russet or little red potatoes.
This dish has so many possibilities!
I usually serve Winter Chicken Bake with roasted green beans or broccoli.
Add it to your dinner rotation and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
