Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats

Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats
This post is sponsored by Bob's Red Mill. All opinions are my own.

Happy Friday!
After indulging in lots of treats while we were on vacation over the 4th, I've been trying
to get back on the healthy track.  On Sunday I made a batch of overnight oats to get me
through most of the week.

It's so much easier to eat healthy when you meal plan and overnight oats only take a
few minutes to prepare.

Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats

I've been enjoying Bob's Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder in my smoothies, so I
thought I would bump up the protein in my overnight oats by adding a scoop to each
jar. I love the chocolate flavor! It's almost like having dessert instead of breakfast!

Chocolate protein overnight oats are a healthy and delicious way to start your day.
They're also portable for breakfast or snack on the go! Top the oats with your favorite
toppings for added flavor. I almost always top mine with a dollop of almond or sun butter,
fresh berries, unsweetened coconut flakes and a little granola - yum!

1/2 cup rolled oats (I use Bob's Red Mill)
1/2 ripe banana
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Bob's Red Mill)
1 T ground flax seed
1 tsp. chia seed
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Add all of the ingredients to a plastic container with lid or a mason jar.
Mix well, using the back of a spoon to mash the banana.
Place lid on the container and put it in the refrigerator overnight.

The next morning add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
My favorite toppings are fresh berries, almond butter, granola and
coconut flakes! Chocolate chips are delicious too!
