Cheerios Oat Crunch Yogurt Parfaits

Cheerios Oat Crunch Yogurt Parfaits













































Well we're right smack in the middle of summer and I love it!
My little herb garden is going crazy, fresh berries are over flowing at the Farmer's
Market and the days are long and warm. This time of year makes me so happy!

When the weather is warm I usually choose something light for breakfast such as
overnight oats, a smoothie or bowl of cereal. Lately I've been enjoying a bowl of
Cheerios Oat Crunch cereal. I grew up eating Cheerios and it's always been one
of my favorites. I remember when General Mills introduced Multi-Grain Cheerios
and my husband and I thought it was the best thing ever.



On my latest Walmart shopping trip I added a box of NEW Cheerios Oat Crunch
to the cart. It's similar to Multi-Grain Cheerios, but it's topped with whole grain
oats and real cinnamon and you know how I love my oats!  Cheerios Oat Crunch
cereal is nutritious (it contains 9 vitamins and minerals, is a good source of fiber
and more than half of the daily recommended whole grain), hearty and delicious!
I love the texture and crunch in every bite!

Cheerios Oat Crunch is great on it's own, but I found that it's also delicious paired
with yogurt and fresh fruit in these cute little Cheerios Oat Crunch Yogurt Parfaits.

Mini parfaits are perfect for breakfast, a healthy snack or even dessert!
They are especially nice to serve when you have guests for breakfast and they look
so pretty on a buffet table. They will definitely be on repeat at our house this summer!

Cheerios Oat Crunch Yogurt Parfaits

1 cup Cheerios Oat Crunch Cereal
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1/4 cup sliced strawberries
fresh mint leaves, optional

Spoon Cheerios Oat Crunch cereal in the bottom of 4 clear glasses.
Layer with yogurt and fresh fruit. Repeat with another layer.
Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
